I'm starting to get more active on dA now. I know I disappeared and have not really given any advance notice to it or any reasons. I really don't have any substantial reason for it, anyhow. I could give the whole "life and college" ploy, but it's not like it gobbled all my time. Really, I just kind of fell out of the scene, personal artwork dissatisfaction and whatnot. Not that I stopped drawing, I just stopped updating.

Anyhow, I won't be updating this account. I moved to this other account: ~13th-Complex . I just didn't like this current name, which is supposed to be a play on my full name, but it soon felt unsuitable to me. Anyhow, I only recently updated the other account, so don't think I was doing stuff on dA on another pseudonym without your knowing.

Also I am also trying out for *CivilWar-OCT . (Auditions are closed btw.)

And also my computer is also downed for the moment. (On a school computer as I type.)

Buahahahaha! Guys I lost! XD

No, I'm not taking it that well. It is pretty sad, actually; but that is a natural response, especially since I was so interested into this OCT.

Needless to say, my side of the round was disorganized, unprofessional, and downright awful. ~greymattre did a better job at consistency and performance, while I pulled out crap. I do realize the areas I need to work on, and aside from the unfinished art, my round was confusing. And I knew it was! There was suppose to be an SE after the audition that would tie in things better, but alas, I couldn't produce due to bad time management and organization. I figured, if I won this round, I would put a heavy dose of SE's to remedy this, considering I have nothing better to do this summer. And I don't think it was just that, there were some other things I won't go into, for the sake of keeping this rant short(er).

But in reality, I am actually the winner; because I got exactly what I wanted to get from this tournament, and that was to improve artistically and gain more experience at comic making. Ahaha! XD

But it's not all bad news! Got mah grades from last semester, and I was flipping surprised to see that I aced the three science-based classes I had taken. Normally, I don't like talking about grades. But hell was I surprised! I was expecting like, a C or something. :3
Also, my quest to gain the mythical treasure of free monies for university seems to be accomplished. So no money worries!
And I found a good place to live for next fall!

My entry has been coming along slower than I anticipated, but that could be because of the end of the semester rush. Nearly all the sketching is done, and the inking has been under way. I may have to take the advice of a friend and tone done the shading, but only to bring out more of the story. I rather not, but if time pressures as it does I may have to. Hopefully with the lesser school load next week and a free week thereafter, I can run at my maximum. But that may be just wishful thinking.

In which we see a little girl get riddled with bullets from two armed and dangerous men. Yay! XD


I've just thoroughly read into her characters and audition, and I must say, they are some of the best developed characters I've seen so far. I am dead serious. (lol pun XD) I envision this round is going to be one of a tight match, if I can keep up that is. But really, I'm going to enjoy drawing ~greymattre's characters Alex and Tino. And if I lose, it is to a worthy opponent. c:
